You may hear Richard perform at the One Heart – One Mind Center for Spiritual Living (10225 Barnes Canyon Road, Ste A-102) every Sunday morning service. Meditation begins at 9:30 AM, service begins at 10 AM. Most Sundays special music is provided by a guest vocalist with Richard doing the accompaniment on piano… This coming Sunday. Jan 1, Richard will be featured, piano & vocals, as well as prelude & postlude music, i.e. jazz around the edges…. come join us!

local public appearances… On New Year’s Eve come join us at the Viejas Resort, the Grove Steakhouse for jazz standards & more from 5pm to midnight. The Steakhouse is toward the east end of property, past the main casino and on N side of Willows Rd. … I will be joined by Gina Saputo, down from LA and she sounds great…. It will be memorable – don’t miss us!
Most Tuesdays, e.g. Tuesday 6th and 13th, I will be performing on fender bass with a great group including Joe Marillo on tenor, Lynn Willard on kybd and Bob Daniels on drs… We’ve been exploring some great Tom Harrell material with the group, as well as Wayne Shorter, etc… as well as our own originals. This is happening at the Turquoise Lounge (873 Turquoise St. San Diego, 92109) in Pacific Beach from 7:00pm to 10:30pm…. no cover, and prices are reasonable… You’ll dig the scene…
Next Wednesday, Jan. 4, I will be appearing with Bob Daniels and Bryan McConnell at Eddie V’s in La Jolla 1270 Prospect St from 7pm – 11pm. The vibe is definitely jazz and blues, e.g. Mose Allison, Ray Charles, etc. as well as jazz standards….
Thursday, Jan. 12 my trio will again be appearing with Liz Dreyfuss but at a new place called 98 Bottles, at 2400 Kettner St. in midtown San Diego… there is a $10 cover, but that is how we get paid, so please tell your friends to come down and enjoy the room… I’ve heard great things about it so far…..
